Unconquered gets First Blood Against Nothing Gaming, Wrath joins the fray!
Well folks if you have been paying attention to the banter between the members of Scum & Villainy, you know we have been talking about PVP and who is going to own who. Lots of bravado, lots of shit talking and lots of building up for what will continue to be a massive event between the Scum (Empire side) & Villainy (Republic side). But the tale of first blood has been set, at least between Nothing Gaming and Unconquered (Galactic Underground).
Who? What? Where? Hold on, its coming, lets us take a few moments and savor this. Just today, day number two in early access, a single member of Unconquered, Sqream (aka Timmeh) laid down the thundah! In a match of Voidstar Quiche from Nothing Gaming ran past ole Sqream and from there the first death between our groups occurred. In a blaze of Trooper glory, Sqream said screw healing and made sure he unloaded everything on the lovely Quiche... VIOLA BANG BOOM... between Unconquered and Nothing Gaming, Unconquered tallies the first kill. Dahaka was good enough to return to favor on Sqream (who eventually did get a bit of retribution on Dahaka) and indeed the Empire destroyed the match and sent the Republic home with a devastating loss (seriously it wasn't even close). But first blood belongs to Sqream and Unconquered.
Let loose the dogs of war, it has begun. Game on Scum... Game on.
In other news, Wrath of Tormonger has successfully moved to Vulgar Highway so the final piece of Scum and Villainy has arrived. War is here and the battle has only just begun.

Get better Dimbo & Timmeh streams a flashpoint
First and foremost our well wishes and desires for Dimbo to get better are filling the waves, air and all that good stuff. Yesterday during Pancakes and Blue Milk, we got word that Dimbo was heading off to the hospital to potentially have his gal bladder taken out. Last I heard he was at home resting waiting for his meds as he moves to recovery. We love our very own Dimbo the Trooper and wish nothing but the best for him. So get well soon and Godspeed on your recovery my friend o/
Second keep your eyes on twitter today, as we mentioned yesterday on GU, Timmeh will be doing a live stream of our crew running an instance so people can get a feel for it. Sure you have seen it everywhere else, but hell its fun and we enjoy it. So stay tuned and we will keep you informed.

Stephen Reid aka Rockjaw on the Galactic Underground and Bootleg Radio
The other night Brennan and I (Brehon) were able to sit down and record an interview and chat with none other than Stephen Reid aka Rockjaw of BioWare. Although we can't give you the interview live, we got word today the recording is approved. With this news, tune in this Saturday for the Galactic Underground (show starts at 6:00pm CST) and we will play the 34 minute interview as part of the show.
It was great to sit down and talk with him and get his views on the community and what have you. While we all stuck around and talked after the interview, I was able to walk away from this humbled, happy and with a tremendous amount of faith in the BioWare community team. What I learned about Rockjaw and BioWares team in general just put me at ease on so many levels.
Next mission... tackle David Bass and get him on interview!!! :)
Special thanks to Mr. Reid, Mr. Bass and BioWare for allowing this interview (1 take, no recuts or similar so it was almost like live!) and the approval to play it on air. As I have said over and over again... thank you a million times over.

Why is the message about the problem being missed?
48 hours ago we were all told about Fan Summit II. People were told to email for details. It was believed (flawed in such a belief is understood) this was a chance to be a part of it. The response was basically, um no, we already selected those who were going to go. When questioned about this, the response was poor, defensive and in many cases offensive. This lead to counters of anger. For clarity people were told to listen to a Podcase featuring David Bass via Mos Eisley Radio (MER). So many flocked to this podcast to tune in. During this podcast, David Bass explained the 13 chosen were done so as they were relationships they (Bioware) wanted to continue to build a relationship with. Not a problem, while we may not like to hear that because we all want to be special and seen in that light it is the part that came next which sent fury into overdrive. Mr. Bass continued on to say for post launch success they (Bioware) believe those 13 selected sights are the anchor and direction they are taking for post game launch community building because the majority of the sites will have died off. No one sees the flaw in that statement or the slight felt by sites that are not one of the 13?
Had Bioware come out and said directly "We have chosen 13 sites after going through our options as our community building focus post launch, to represent and build further direct community relations" (or something to that light), people would have been upset and would have qq'd about it, but rationality would have set in and people would have understood.
It is NOT, I repeat NOT about who is going to the Fan Summit II. We are happy for those sites going. Sure there are those of us that believe they should have picked 13 sites that have never been (which is a separate issue). The main issue, the real source of all the anger is about how this was delivered in a one way, responded to and then redelivered. Next time just give it to us straight up with directness.
We are indeed a community and we will not always agree, but we all have the same focus: Deliver our view, comments and dedication to SW:TOR to our respective circles, the play the game and create the community we want to be a part of. That hasn't change, that wont change.
So I agree if you are upset you weren't asked to go, get over it. If you are upset about how this was delivered and responded to by our community leaders at Bioware, then you understand why I was upset. With that I ask those reporting on this issue to at least understand the issue before taking this whole "stop qq'ing because you can't go" stance.
